multiple hard disks: how do you ensure they're being scanned?

I have a new PC running Windows 7 Home Premium.  I've installed Security Essentials and run the first "Quck Scan." It appears, however, that only the "C" drive is being scanned.  How do I confirm that the other disks are being scanned?  In Quick Scan?  In
Full Scan?
