Music Remix Help

I'm interested in starting to remix some music. However, I'm broke. And christmas is a long way away. First, does anyone know of any good free remixing programs? I want to use it to do fan remixes, collaborate different music, and make my own techno beats. Second, I'll need some help getting started and learning how to do it. I might be able to figure out most of it by myself, but I may need some help.

If anyone can help me with any of this, please do so in this thread. Thanks!

I use Cool Edit Pro 2.1 of course I didnt buy it ^.-.But yeah no one knows I remix,I'm gonna post one of my things soon.

you can download fruity loops or other good programs off limewire like i do

If you want to get a great program, try Acid Pro 5. I have it burnt into a CD, so if you want it just drop me a PM.

Or you can be like me and download Acid off of limewire, which is so simple, and free.

I've tried, and when I try to set it up, my antivirus program wont let me.

You need to try some other ones then,some files of the same program are viruses.So pick different ones and give them a chance.

Ok, thanks for the programs, SK. Only problem is, they're ******* confusing! I know you said that you don't know much about it, but is there anyone else who could help me get used to Acid Pro, or Fruity Loops? I really want to learn how to use this stuff because I want to do remixes of LP and Slipknot, and make my own Mash-ups and even my own beats. If anyone can help me out, please do.

well its relativly easy to manage. I recomend u use adobe audition since ur a begginger. its way easier. Um ur not gunna find any good "free" software. So ur gunna have to dwnload illegally. like im assuming u or sum1 else did for u. Um yeah adobe is my recomendation for noobs to the art.
