Ben Zobrist definitely found winning a World Series title much harder the second time around, even as the Most Valuable Player in the Chicago Cubs' run to their first crown since 1908. The 35-year-old outfielder, a native of suburban Chicago, played for Kansas City last year when the Royals won their first Major League Baseball title since 1985. This time, Zobrist drove in the go-ahead run with a 10th-inning double Thursday morning in the Cubs' 8-7 triumph over Cleveland to give Chicago a 4-3 win in the best-of-seven final and end the longest championship drought in American sports history.
