My Dad, My Friend, My hero

heyyyy!! I miss wrting Fan fics sooo much!!! So i am back to write another!! YAY FER ME!!! uh well lol. Here yaz go

Chester slowly crawled out of under the table. He looked around before fully revealing himself. His feet were kinda asleep from being there so long. He ran into the living room and hid there. Then he heard the loud and excited squeal, and foot steps running over. Then he felt a touch on his upper back.

"Tag daddy!!! your it, your it!!" Chester's 3 year old son, Draven, squealed.

"Not for long!" He kinda jogged after his quick moving son. Reaching out, he got Draven by the side and lifted him up. Draven emitted a small yawn and layed his tiny head on on his father's shoulder. Draven's thumb went imediatly into his mouth and slowly closed his eyes. "Tired, little guy? Alright, i think its time for a nap." Chester carried his son up the stairs and into the small boy's room.

"night dadda" Draven's speach was sorta slurred as he drifted off into a small nap.

"Night, Drav" Chester whispered gently, and set his son down in the crib-like bed. He walked downstairs and yawned. 'i need a nap myself....*yawn*' and with that, he flopped onto the couch, and like his son, was soon asleep.

~~~~~~~~~A FEW WEEKS LATER~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Draven, happy birthday to u!" A huge party had gathered for Draven's 4th birthday. Mike, Anna, and Mike's cousin Melissa, Melissa's friend Alyssa (ME ME ME LOL), Phi, Rob, Joe, and brad, had all gathered at Chaz's house for a big party. Draven excitedly blew out the candles. Chester chuckled "What did u wish for, Drav?"

"I cant tell, wont come true!!" Draven said, jumping up and down in his seat. "Presents now daddy?"

"Haha, yeah, me and mommy will go get them" Chester grinned at the 4 year old. He remebered when he was eager to open presents at his parties. When he was Drav's age. Sam walked over and hugged Chester.

"How are things going hun?" Sam asked her husband.

"Just fine, lets go give Drav his presents"

Drav excitedly opened present after present. Each one, he would give a screech of delight. He finally got to Chester's present. It was small. Draven tilted his head to the side and shook it.

"Open it, Drav." Chaz said to his son. And so Draven ripped the paper. A box. A small velvety box. Drav had the most confused look on his face. He opened the box slowly. Inside, a gold looking chain link necklace.

"Daddy, what this say?" He was pointing to a small square shaped thing at the end of the necklace.

on the back...it had Chester's signature engraved in it.

"I love you Draven" He whispered in his son's ear.

Authors NOTE: and by the way, it is a month after the Bday party.

Draven sat patiently on the couch. He lookd at his dad, who was looking nervous.

"What wrong, daddy?" Draven asked, his little kinda squeaky voice made chester grin.

"Nothing, Drav. Melissa and her friend should be here soon. But dont worry, mommy will be back at around 11:00. She had to stay at work late." Draven nodded hugged his dad.

"I miss u, daddy! me no want you to go!!" Draven said sadly, grabbing chaz's wrist with his small hands. A tear slid down drav's cheek. Chester sighed and hugged his son.

"You guys will have fun, and I will also see you in the morning." As if on cue, the doorbell rang throughout the house. "That should be them now." He walked to the door and opened it.

"Hey chaz!" Melissa and Alyssa both greeted him.

"Hey guys. Instructions and phone numbers are on the Fridge. Cya Drav!" He ran and hugged his son farewell, and walked out the house.

"Hey Draven." Melissa crouched down and hugged the little boy.

"Where daddy go?" Draven asked sadly.

"He went with Uncle Mike to an interveiw" Melissa said gently.

"Oh..."Draven sighed.

"But dont worry!! We are gonna have a lot of fun! We brought games!" Alyssa said to him. Draven giggled.

"Hide and seek?" He said jumping up and down.

"Whatever you want to do" They grinned at young Draven.

**********an hour later, they were playing hide an seek***********

"Draven!! Come on out, we are making dinner!!" Alyssa and Melissa had called for the 7th time. "Come on, game over!!" They couldnt find Draven anywhere. They had been searching every room. No sign of his smiling face. They grew worried about him. As if things couldnt get any worse....the sound of doorknob clicked...and Sam was soon walking over to them.

**Alyssa's POV**

"Where is she going?" Sam asked confused.

"Uhh...Going to wash Draven up!! He a...made a mess with mud..." I lied, gritting my teeth nervously. It was a long time habit.

"Oh, i can do that, you girls run along!"

"NO!"

Samantha's jaw dropped.

"Uhh i mean, no thats fine! We can do it!" 'Hurry up melissa!!' the thought raged through my head. What if we didnt find him? Then the lovliest sound i have ever heard floated through the room.

"MOMMY!" draven's shrill cheer echoed around the house, releif an endless water fall through my body. I sighed and walked up to Melissa.

"We should be going now!!" I said to her. And we zipped out the door.

"Where was he?!" I asked, amazed. I stared wonderingly at my friend, a never ending pool of questions swam through my head. "U saved out fucking asses!"

"Hah, he was in the basement playing Chester's guitar." She laughed. "I sware...he lookd so much like Chester..." She yawned.

I grinned and nodded. "They are inseperable sumtimes."

"Yeah. he is gonna be just like his father!" Melissa prodded. And with that, we entered Mike's house. I loved sleeping over. And...i have never been so tired...

"Whats wrong? Who is it?" Alyssa whispered.

"Sam!" i mouthed back.

"What does she want?" Alyssa muttered.

I shrugged. "Whats wrong?"
