LP186 Posted February 25, 2005 Share Posted February 25, 2005 well i did it i had my day in court for drink driving for it I was fined $300 and had my license suspended for 3 months i was so drunk dat i didn't even remember dat i went to jail last thing i remember was me leaving the party apparently i spend the night in jail, had my court appearance the next morning, and was taking back to my place... i didn't remember any of that obviously my house mates, parents and my friends are disappointed in me coz its something that i never do i just hope that u guys dont think less of me as a person like everyone around me has... Once in a while, at a party, drinking harms no one. But one has to know their limits. Some people get really irritable when drunk and start fights and what-not, and people can get hurt. But more importantly, drink and drive is something you should never do. You can harm yourself or others, I'm glad none of this happened. Always be sure to have a designated driver, or take a cab or a bus to get home. It's great to party, we just have to use our heads :thumbsup: After all this, what I have to say is: of course you're human and humans make mistakes. And the fact that you realise it is very important. So I'm not going to think any less of you because of a mistake I mean, I've had my share of them too. I hope things go back to normal with your family and friends. Just next time remember not to drink and drive! Drink driving is serious, and who knows what could've happened to you or somebody totally innocent. They don't put those warnings about drink driving on tv for nothing. Sorry I sound like I'm lecturing you, but I'm not really o_0 Err I don't think. Not everybody drinks. I've never drank, or gotten drunk, mostly because it tastes gross to me, and I've seen what alchohol does to people and it's not something I would imagine myself to be lol. And the idea of a hangover sucks. And well....I just get a headache just from the smell of alchohol so mhmmm. I don't drink *Although my friends are trying to persuade me "Mix it with coke! You won't taste it"* I'm sometimes hyper as it is without alchohol in my system .
