Heres my idea. its bit long bear with
Emma Frost, pasttime friend and affair of Prof X, decides to take charge of the X-men when she hears that Prof X has died. She is sexy, cunning, and somewhat mean to her students. So the current X-Men line up is
Wolverine Storm Iceman Angel Kitty Colossus and Emma Frost
The X-men are contaced by Moira Mctaggert saying that Prof X is alive in that guys body from X-3 but cannot be brought to life because he is trapped in the Astral Plane. There they also meet Forge who agrees to become the X-men's technician. Emma Frost using her physcic powers enters the Astral Plane and find that Shadow King has trapped Xavier but in the Astral Plane battle they defeat him and bring Prof X back to physical life. But he is extremely weakened and can barely use his power so he gives temporary leadership to Emma Frost.
Meanwhile, Rogue discovers the cure is ineffective while kissing Iceman and she runs away again. She meets Sinister who says he can offer her a permanent cure if he does a job for him. The job is that she has to rob a high security museum and steal a valuable gem of special power. He introduces Gambit(who is under the mental control of Sinister at the moment) to her, a master thief, in order to pull off the job. The 2 suceed and form a bond. Right when Sinister is about to give a cure which is actually is not a cure, she touches Sinister and gains his memories, finding out that she is not given a cure and the gem she stole is for a great evil purpose. She battles Sinister, letting go of Sinister's hold on Gambit. Rogue fights and allows Gambit to escape but is prisoned by Sinister trying to help him get away. Her last words are for Gambit to seek out the X-men. Sinister gives Rogue the chemical which he was gonna give as the cure. It is actual a substance which enhances her power, gives her additional powers, and corrupts her mind. Sinister then with the help of Rogue, goes to a temple in Mexico and with the help of the super powerd gem, brings back to life a 10,000 old mutant. Apocalypse. We then find out that the enhancer formula given by Sinister to Rogue makes her a horsemen. Sinister seeks out and finds other mutants to become other horsemen. He forces Pyro and Sabertooth( still alive) to take the enhancer.
After Gambit reaches the X-mansion and becomes an official team member the X-Men decide to raid Sinister's Lab. But they do not account for the 3 horsemen and are defeated. They are forced to retreat and Angel is captured. He becomes the final horsemen and becomes the Archangel.
Apocalypse, Sinister, and the 4 Horsemen rage war on humans and mutants. Apocalypse's temple holds secrets for secret weapons and technology which he uses to easily defeat earth's forces. He captures Earth's major capitals and establishes NYC as head quarters. The X-Men contact the Morlocks to help evacuate people in the sewers and also contact the remains of the Brotherhood to help them. The ones that are willing to join are: Mystique, Juggernaut, Multiple Man, Psylocke, Shadowcat, and Callisto. Apcalypse sends a message to the X-men to have a last battle in NYC
At this time the US government reveals their creation of Sentinels in order to battle Apocalypse who will aid the X-men in the fight
The awesoem fight begins with several deaths which are:
Storm, Pyro, Callisto, Multiple Man, and Sinister(we only get a screenshot of him brutaled not sure if he is dead tho). But despite the long battle Apocalypse has the upper hand in the battle and all the X-Men are severly injured. They then get a message from Forge saying that he has created a device that can put non physics in the Astral Plane. They bring it over to NYC and use it on apocalypse who becomes trapped in the astral plane
After the battle Angel's horsemen powers go away. So does sabertooth's who runs off. But Rogue keeps some Horsemen enhancer powers and now has superstrength and ability to fly but mentally she is normal. The Brotherhood and Morlocks are offered to join the X-men. All but Psylocke refuse.
Scene now shifts to the white house where the agenda is on mutants. The destruction of Apocalpyse has ruined mutant reputation in the eyes of mankind. Riots erupt everywhere. In the white house Beast finds out that he is fired from his job of Mutant-Human relations due to public demand. We are shown that one of the president's advisors is Mystique. The president and his cabinet have a secret meeting where they pass a Mutant Registration Act and decide to continue funding a sentinel program against mutants.
At the manstion Prof X is back in shape and in his old form. He thanks Emma Frost and she leaves giving Prof the charge of X-Men again. Beast comes to the X-men explaining the situation and joins the crew. So the final line up is: Prof X, Wolverine, Iceman, Angel, Rogue, Gambit, Colossus, Psylocke, Beast
Rogue breaks up with Iceman an hooks up with Gambit even tho she stil cant touch people
The final scene is in a tropic island in the middle of the ocean. The news is on in a tv which is talking about the mutant registration act. We are then shown the person watching it who is Magneto and he says "So it has begun" and as the camera turns behind him we can see the silhouettes of the current brother hood members : Mystique, Juggernaut, Sabertooth, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Mastermind, and Blob
