I have Windows Vista Home Premium and this hasn't been a problem until recently. After booting I see the red icon indicating that Security Essentials is OFF or the "Computer Status" is not protected. Click on that and it shows "Real Time Protection" is OFF. I press "Turn ON" and it takes several seconds and sometimes it shows it can't turn it on because it has "timed out," yet it turns ON shortly thereafter. What's going on and how to I correct this? Thanks for any help.
