My Windows mail keep shuting down saying that an error occurred and it will reopen again. It does t

About a week ago whenever I go to different emails in my box, my mail will close and then reopen again. It just says an error has occurred and it starts back up. If I don't skip around in my email box it doesn't seem to happen as much but if I want to keep something in email and then go to another one it shuts down.
