New Album Not Hitting On May 8th

I read it on mtv.com :( :

Despite what you may have heard, Linkin Park's long-awaited new album will not be hitting stores May 8. This is according to the band's publicist, who told MTV News that while LP have settled on an in-store date for their third studio album, they are not announcing it yet ? though they plan to do so in the near future. Earlier this week, the band posted on its MySpace page that the first single from the Rick Rubin-produced album would hit airwaves in March, though no title was given for the track. ...

well...I haven't heard about May 8th...I heard about May 1st....

I think we really should wait for an official statement from the band

yeah I don't really trust this flurry of dates being announced...I'm waiting for Rob's responses in the chat

yeesh, can we NOT speculate? it REALLY gets on my nerves when people THINK they know when te lp release date is, who ******* cares, the albums coming out and us waiting an extra few days is not going to kill us, we ve waited 4 years already. whenever the guys feel they are ready to release, they will release. lets cut this nonsense until someone from the band openly comes out and says;"we are releasing the album on THIS dat"

i dont know..... well just have to wait for the band to tell us.. i hope its april/start of march
