Austin Daye, an NBA journeyman forward who helped San Antonio win last year's league crown, signed a 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks, coach Mike Budenholzer announced Sunday. The move comes with key reserve power forward Mike Scott sidelined indefinitely with a fractured left big toe and the Hawks setting the pace in the Eastern Conference at 51-14, one game behind Golden State for the overall NBA lead. Daye spent four seasons with the Detroit Pistons after they selected him 15th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft.
