no Malware protection

I have MS Security Esscential the Malware Protection is no long there, this happen after updates ms support has worked on this servel times with no resolution other than going out and buying the sofftware that came with the computer. I havee try to download MS Security Essential several time today with luck, this aslo includes uninsatlling it any sugguestion or ideals.
