No, he was with the snax, they didnt really have a true bass player, but then he came back eventually.

Yeah, I knew it would be something like that. Well I think that's sort of why the music in Meteora sounded better than in Hybrid theory (the music, not the lyrics) well telling by the way the sound in meteora was better than of hybrid theory's i feel i can be permitted to say phoenix is a great bassist.

Also, they had progressed more as musicians, which can make for alot better music.

^^ Yeah great point there. Now after two albums and much valued experiance gained, I think they will explode out in this new album and put away any talk of any other bands being the best this era and generation because LP is the band of this era.

But why he came back?

I think its because he found out that they were doing really good, and decided it would be better for him to be with them than the snax

He was with them earlier and then quite. They had no bassist and went on tour for a year and a half. Afterwards he was invited back in LP (which he obviously did). He still did the stuffon Hybrid Theory, just not when they recorded in studio.

I think Phoenix was there writing most of the bass parts, like they all wrote the songs and then got signed. And then when touring started, Phoenix went with Snax for about a year. Thats what I think.

Phoenix had already commited to a band before xero/hybrid theory/linkin park so he went on tour with them for a bit =D

How do you prounounce Snax? do you prounounce it the way you would say "snacks"? and i dont agree with i love mike shinoda, phoenix and Lp didnt write all the songs together for Hybrid theory IMO because you could hear the different sound and rhythm in meteora with phoenix there

Yes they do, but I don't think Phoenix was in Linkin Park during Hybrid Theory, I think he left and came back about the time they were recording Meteora.

He wasn't. He was with the Snax, as it's been said before. I have both Snax albums, I htink Phi sounds great with them, but better with LP.

I don't know about Snax, but he sounds awesome with Linkin Park. I should listen to Snax sometime, just to check out Phoenix.

They are pretty good, i dont usually like any christian music, but theyre pretty good
