I have created a thinapp of Office 2010 - (Pro plus + Project and Visio). We have an enterprise license, and I have made sure it is activated before creating the thinapp package.
I have run the Microsoft Office 2010 Deployment Kit for App-V on the target machine as recommended on a vmware blog.
When I try to lunch one of the apps, I get an installer window that says "configuring Microsoft office..." It fails with the message "Error 1719. The Windows installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if the windows installer is not correctly installed. contact support personnel..."
An error window follows this failure stating "Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2010 cannot verify the license for this application. A repair attempt failed or was cancelled by the user. The application will now shut down."
Office obv thinks its an unlicensed version
Any suggestions?
