NEW YORK -

Energy traders rewrote the record books again Tuesday, pushing oil
futures past $114 a barrel as gasoline and diesel prices struck new
highs of their own at the pump.

Light, sweet crude for May delivery jumped as high as $114.08 a barrel
shortly after regular trading ended on the New York Mercantile
Exchange.

That is nearly $2 above an intraday high set last week.

Since there's no such thing as a "royalty check" from an investment in oil
company stock we can safely conclude that you're full of ****....

I don't have any investment in oil company stock, my "royalty check"
comes from the oil company that pumps the oil from the oil well on my
property. We can safely conclude that you are pretty ignorant.

P.S. I have had offers from several of these royalty purchaser firms
and every time the offer continues to go up. Last one was for over
$10k, but why should I sell to them and loose thousands every year?

Since everybody knows there is an unlimited supply of oil you should keep
your oil royalty forever.

Since nobody ever reads the fine print on contracts we already know that
your oil royalty will survive probate and be passed directly to your heirs,
so keep it - your heirs won't mind.

I do, every time I take a check to the bank. There was a 10% increase
in the second quarter of 2007, a 12% increase in the third quarter,
and a 26% increase in the fourth quarter. Increases right along with
the increase cost of a barrel of oil.
