Age was the biggest risk factor for cancer, with other influences including smoking, obesity, diet, tanning and sunburn and lack of exercise, according to the study published in the British Journal of Cancer. "We're living longer and that means we're more likely to develop a range of age-related health issues," said Cancer Research UK chief executive Harpal Kumar. The death rate from cancer was likely to remain the same, the study found, with one quarter of deaths caused by cancer. Continue reading...
