Outlook 2010 x32 on Win7 x64 and want to sync WM 6.5, is this nuts?

Hiya,

I have read the mobile phone, office and syn forum extensively but have not found the solution. I am Googled out.

I have a HTC Excalibur/Dash/S620 running Windows Mobile 6.5 Standard

I installed Outlook 2010 x32 (also Office 2010 Home & Student edition x32) on

HP Pavilion g series AMD x64 Window 7 Home Premium

I installed WMDC and the WMDC update, both are listed in the Uninstall programs list.

The phone is running Office , Active Sync, Windows Live and I can connect via WiFi to the Internet.

I can 'see' the phone in Windows Explorer, I can 'see" the Windows folder on the phone, I can run WMDC and use install CAB, and perform most WMDC functions.

I even have CeReg Editor working fine. No I have not changed anything in the registry, only looked at it.

But I cannot sync Outlook 2010...

Just want the Calendar and Contacts sync!

I have tried: install/re-install all but OS, compatibility settings for x32 Office, work offline in Outlook, plug unplug , boot/reboot

Here is the WMDC error message:Exchange ActiveSync encountered an error. If this condition persists, please contact your System administrator.

Here is the S620 phone error message from ActiveSync: (same as above) + Support Code: 0x85010014

Please please let me know what to do about this problem with Calendar and Contact from my PC to phone. I would appreciate it if you did not send me more links to info in this forum as I have been there, done that. Just reply that I am nuts and I will give up.

Thanks in advance!
