More than 700,000 refugees and migrants have reached Europe's Mediterranean shores so far this year, amid the continent's worst migration crisis since World War II, the UN refugee agency said Tuesday. Taking into account arrivals in other European countries, the total number of people landing on the continent's shores was more than 705,200, the UN said. A total of 85 percent were from what the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) described as the world's 10 main refugee-producing countries.
