I worked in surgery as an orderly 'way back a couple of decades ago, and

some guy was having those spongy implants put in to help deal with, er,

flaccidity, and those implants basically make ya permanently semi-hard

(you have to bend yerself a bit to pack yerself into yer pants right), and

all the nurses were trying to get his address and phone-number from the

chart.

Working around and with nurses is enough to scar ya for life.

Although Pratchett basically has it right, "throw some chocolate and sidle

off in the opposite direction" . . . .

i am several books behind my pratchet reading, but i'm more upto date

than knoxy. heh.

btw i watched a documentry about him with noone but him in it talking

on sky arts last week. it was pretty interesting. he talked about how

he writes and what he does to finnish a book. all interesting stuff.
