Permanently deleting games so that someone with Administrator privileges CANNOT easily put...

It seem from everything that I've read - which is a freaking lot - that there is no way without doing a custom install of Windows 7 for me (as the admin of my own computer) to not have the games be quite available? (I.e. available with the ease of a reinstall them as a windows component)?

Is this true?

I just got a new laptop. I have computer game issues as do MANY people. I have no idea why Microsoft would make the games be so un-DELETE-able. I am sick of the stupid responses from Microsoft employees acting like removing hte link from the start menu is removing the games. Windows 7 seems to lack a lot of flexibility.

Game addiction is real. No one expects alcholics to have an open bottle of whiskey on their table every evening.....yet Windows 7 in its infinite wisdom has decided that the games need to be quite available to every adult in the world.. Because we are all known for having fabulous willpower these days.

Anyway, if I am wrong, and there is some way for me to NOT have to

a.) REBUY Windows 7 because my windows is preinstalled on my laptop, and I am guessing it's going to be hard to do a custom install from the recovery CD that is different than my current version (hopefully I am wrong)

b.) Lose all things I've already set up on my laptop.

c.) Tweak Windows.

d.) Reinstall it.

Sure, if I have the Windows disk on me, I could then reinstall windows again (and lose everything) to get the games back.... My addiction is not that serious.

But it's certainly more serious than havin ghte willpower to not do a "reinstall windows components" click.

Thanks Microsoft. Glad to know that the GAMES are so essential to Windows that you had to screw up my time and energy in this matter. Great plan.

I really can't see why they are an essential component. I don't understand the lack of ability in Windows 7 to customize many things.

Anyway, I digress. My question still stands (and I really hope I am wrong): Is there any other way to remove the games so that someone with admin privileges cannot easily reinstall the games?

If anyone can tell me how to do this, I would be SO SO SO HAPPY!!!

If not, I would love for a Microsoft employee to tell me why it was so critical that the games component not be delete-able?? I guess the microprocessor can't function without those games being there..?
