PHP..

Can someone teach me php? I mean I want to start off basic like anything you'd start learning

HTML come before PHP. If you know HTML there are a few good sites out there that will easily teach you PHP.

Yeah and if I missed anything HTML i can quickly pick it up

How long would PHP take to become familiar with? I'm not on about mastering it, just understanding and editing it.

I used w3schools.org to learn PHP, but I also learnt a few other languages first, such as HTML and CSS.

And it took me around a month to become familiar with PHP, Dan learnt it a bit quicker.

Not aslong as you would think.

As long as you know the functions you can just look through scripts and it will click, you will be like "Ohhh i think i know what that is doing, so if i edit that with this it will do this" etc.

Best site I've used is phpacademy.info (http://www.youtube.com/phpacademy).

I'm personally a visual learner, so videos are perfect for me. I'm also lazy, so when I can't be bothered I just copy out code. With video tutorials, it's not as easy as to just use the code, as you have to write it, thus learning it.
