Okay, so I don't have a video camera... anybody want to do this?
Video Concept - Place for my Head
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
--The Cast--
The Kid - This is the main character of the story. He is just a normal teenagae kid. He starts out as a kid, he ends up as a kid... He has a very unhappy kid life in between, what can I say? He is a stereotype of a teenager.
The Father Figure type person - This is the 'bad guy' of the story. He is an alchoholic middle aged man. The stereotype of a stepfather.
The mother - She is the kid's mom. Duh. But without her, the events of this entire story wouldn't even be possible.
--The Story--
Basically, what happens in this video, A kid has an abusive stepfather type guy, and he can take it, or he doesn't care. But then when his mother starts having bruises and cuts on her, he becomes different and finally stands up to him out of love for his mother. They have a fight, and the mother panics and calls the po-pos. Set to a very angry Linkin Park song.

--Intro I--
We break in with the guitar to find the camera looking out of a window, in a bedroom. The camera pans over to see a teenage kid sleeping peacefully. We stare at this person for a little bit, then suddenly, as the song picks up, with the bass and drums, an adult male figure who looks a bit ragged, like he has been drinking, busts through the door! He about gives the kid a heart attack waking him up, but No!, that's not enough for the man. He proceeds to pull the kid out of the bed and rough him up a little bit, then leaves. He slams the door on the way out. The kid slowly gets up, like this happens every day. Which, what the heck, it does. He leaves the room.
--Verse I--
The kid goes into the living room, and sits down. He looks at his mother. She has a bruise/cut/something on her arm, that doesn't look self-inflicted. The kid notices it, and opens his mouth slightly like he is going to say something, and she sees him, and quickly covers it up. He narrows his eyes at his father-figure type guy, and for the rest of the verse, he bites his lip, making it VERY obvious to the camera that he wants to say what is being said in the verse, but he is scared of the guy. At the lyric 'I'm sick of the tension...' the father figure type guy gets up, and walks past the kid, and pushes him over in his chair, then leaves the room. It is not completely full-of-itself obvious, but the mother follows him. The kid leaves the house.
--Chorus I--
The kid sits on the porch for a second, and sings the chorus to himself, holding his ears, with his eyes shut tight, like he is holding back his thoughts, but letting them out at the same time. Then, suddenly, he remembers the cuts on his mothers arm, and how she went to follow the father figure type guy. He runs into the house, for... support, I guess. He isn't looking to do anything, but he is just being wary.
--Verse II--
He sits back where he was, and raps. We see flashbacks of the father figure type guy, but he is... nice, and groomed well; a gentleman. This is alluding to the line: 'I remember back then who you were...' He grabs a notebook off of the table beside him, and starts writing in it, if there is time. Then, at the line 'I'm so sick of the tension...' (again) the kid looks up, and his mother walks by, in slow motion. The emphasis is not on the lyrics, but the 'la's' in the background. She is trying not to catch his eye, but he holds his hand out to her, and sees more scars and cuts on her arm, and face. Then the camera pans down to see his knuckles. They are white. And shaking violently. He is clenching his fist as tightly as he can. The pencil snaps, and he gets up, with his jaw set, and a look in his eye that says that someone is going to die that instant. His mother looks like she is about to cry... She knows what is going to happen.
--Chorus II--
The kid still has that look in his eye as he slowly walks through the house, looking for his father figure type guy. Very uninteresting, I know. What can you do? He walks into his parents' room, and he finds the guy sleeping. The kid is obviously thinking 'Hmm... Revenge...' He lets out a small smile, and backs away.
--Interlude--
The kid slowly shuts the door, then closes his eyes, and slowly whispers the words "You... Try to take the best of me... Go away..." His face is unusually tranquil, calm. He repeats the words, and repeats them again. It is feeding his anger, quietly. There are Flashbacks of that morning, to make the time go by, for one, and to put you on the same boat as him as far as what is being felt. Then he stops, and the words 'GO AWAY' echo, louder, like someone is screaming, and his eyes snap open, and you see a completely different person in his eyes. He slams open the door, screaming the words, standing over the father figure type guy, who slowly gets up with a 'What the heck...?' look on his face. His mother appears in the doorway, and looks heartstruck. Her only child, fighting with her husband. On the last 'Go Away!' The father figure type guy just pulls back and hits him square in the jaw. The kid falls, in slow motion, and we cut back to the mother for a second.
--Chorus III--
The father figure type guy walks over and pushes the mother out and locks the door shut. He then kick-pushes the kid around, hits him in the back, kicks him, stuff like that. Roughs him up, but more. Suddenly, the father figure type guy is tired, or something, and he walks away, to watch the kid try to get up.
--Outro--
The kid slowly gets up, ragged, but, calm. He holds up a Bible, that he must've picked up off of the floor. He sets it down on the bed, and then gets that calm look in his eyes again. He quietly mouths/whispers the words 'Stay...A...Way...' only, it is cool because the sound that is coming from his mouth is screaming, so you aren't sure if he is experiencing something supernatural, or if he is thinking. That is the point of the Bible there. You hear the 'I am so sick of the tension...' part again, and you are reminded of how the kid was jerked out of bed just that morning. The song abruptly stops, and the kid *screams* "Stay Away From Me!" and runs up and "hits" the father figure type guy. But there is a flash, so you don't really know if he hit him or not. Then at the end, the door opens, and you can see cops' lights flashing through the windows. The camera pans down at the mom, who is in a fetal position bawling her eyes out, with a phone right next to her. The last thing you see is the Bible hitting the floor right in front of her, and she looks at it.
--The End--
The Bible Part at the end.... probably not going to stay if somebody else does it, but if it were me, it would work, and be cool.
