That's right, the One Step Closer demo that you've long heard about. The groundbreaking hit from Linkin Park - the demo that you've never heard. It will be here. After 8 years of hiding, it's coming. Thanks all in part to nkramar, it can now be released.

On Monday. Be ready. Congrats to all that successfully guessed it in what has to be the biggest LP fansite collab of a release EVER.

And yes, the demo is different.

that's because LPF is only a forum, it doesn't have a main site to anchor on to

Likely won't happen. There's too many sites that are doing a joint release. So, it's highly unlikely that they can coordinate pulling up the deadline between 4 or 5 different people. Especially online. Everyone's in school and probably has a Job. So I don't know. It'd be nice though.

yep. nkramar's a legend. he got the grey daze demos, plaster, and a TON of other **** for the community.

to each their own ref. we all decided on a day to release it. it's big because OSC was LP's first single and LP is huge now. it's been rumored to exist/not exist since 2000 and now we finally have it.

I get that. That's why I said that you wouldn't release it early, even if everyone knew what it was. It's a joint release and it'd be hard to coordinate releasing it early. I really only want to know what's different about it, besides that it's not mixed or mastered.
