Printer will print everything Except emails from Outlook

 Using WIndows 7 - my HP printer works fine with documents, but won't print any emails. whenever I try to print an email "There was an error when printing started.To check printer setup, double-click the Printer icon in Windows Control Panel" appears -
when clicked it shows printer" Device working properly" . How can I fix this??
