Guest NewsBot
I am using Windows XP and Advanced System Care Free - a program to maintain the computer. For several weeks I have not been able to paste after copying or cutting anything on any document or anyting typed on email, etc. The "PASTE" is always greyed out. Also "CNRL V" does not work. I have tried the solutions I have found online, i.e. making Clipbook is started and dependent services Network DDE and Network DDE DSDM are started, which they are with no luck. I have tried to go back to a restore point before the problem started on Windows XP and Advanced Systme Care but neither one is working - they just say "not available or something like that. I have been told by a certified Microsoft Tech on the official Microsoft site that the restore point does not work on Windows XP. The only solution I have been told I have left is to reinstall the original Windows XP operating system program from the 2003 CD. However, if I do this I will lose all the security patches and updates since then. I might have to face buying a new computer , which I may anyway since Microsoft no longer supports XP, but I would like to find a fix asap since I am a "researcher" and it will take me awhile to select a new computer. Does anyone have a fix to my problem? View this thread
