Ed i see that i am not the only one with the same problem as you have my mouse works but my keyboard when i push a key makes a noise like a horn blowing, and i have only had this problem since i downloaded the update SP3 for XP Pro.32 bit,I have tried evrything been everywhere asked everyone but i still haven't solved my problem,i removed all software and reinstalled it,for the disk,so i thought that the disk might be bad so i downloaded the software off the mircosoft website and it still wasn't any better, but now the keyboard doesn't even make the blowing noise any more,so what do i do next,i am thinking of taking it out in my back yard and set it up for a target and blow it to pieces.Hey Good Luck if i find any usefull info for ya i"ll write to you again but i really think you shouldn't hold your breath.PS The thing that makes me so mad is this i bought it when i was still running windows ME and it didn't have support for that either it said for 2000,XP,Vista,and NT back then now its saying something else they have messed up and took my 100 dollar i spent on it and only used it 3-5 months maybe.

I can not get my new keyboard to work on the usb port unless I have the old

keyboard pluged into the ps/s port. When I turn the computer on it will not

recognize the new keyboard unless I have the old keyboard plugged in. The

computer stops loading. I have to shut the computer down and plug in the old

keyboard into the ps/2 port so that the computer will continue to load. Then

it recognizes both keyboards. Any help would be appreciated.
