Profile Pictures

I have a question... again

While I was uploading my profile pic, I had to resize it a lot because the forum wouldn't allow me to make it any larger. Yet I notice that lots of members have far larger pictures.

Is it that Elites and Mods have larger dimension limits for the pictures? I'm just a bit confused, as usual. XD

Not that I know of,every1 should post their pics with the same size as every1 in here(not the big size tho).

It might go by file size instead of image size.

For what I know, the max is, 400px X 400 px, & 97.5 KB

it's probably how large the filesize is. It wouldn't let me put a picture past 25KB... so I kept cropping mine.. then with photoshop i reduced the quality of the jpeg.
