hugo
Indos are predominantly Hindu. WTF are you on about? From the CIA World Fact Book Muslim 88%, Protestant 5%, Roman Catholic 3%, Hindu 2%, Buddhist 1%, other 1% (1998) Ya arguing our CIA could misrepresent facts? builder
I stand corrected. But considering them to be islamofascists is wrong also. The history of the region is Hindu/Buddhist. Most Javanese are Islamic. But they're generally not followers of the branches of Islam associated with the Near East. The Javanese have fused Islam with the island's traditional mysticism, much like the Sufis of northern India. It's certainly not fundamentalist. For instance, it's illegal to agitate for the establishment of an Islamic state, and believers are required to sign a document declaring that they won't. More here. hugo
I thought this was interesting: In one apartment complex all 127 Muslims were killed along with all 5 others. The 21 Christian and Hindu residents were all spared. Looks like God hates others also. hugo
If you're in the majority, it's odds-on you'll lose more bodies in a catastrophe. You fall out of the wrong side of bed this morning hugo? But what are the odds that all 132 members of two groups would be killed while all 21 members of two other groups would be spared in the same complex? hugo
So you're saying that there is a god? And he's a latter-day saint, just like you? The odds that all 132 fatalaties would be Muslim or other are 132/153 to the 132nd power. Astronomically low. hugo
You didn't answer my question. An alternative would be that some unkown org (prolly the JLF or Javanase Liberation Front) dropped a mini-nuke in the ocean, and got the fuck outta there. That would not explain this: Initially there were 7 Muslim survivors who gathered together with the other survivors. Sadly, a large polar bear suddenly appeared and mauled the 7 Muslims to death while leaving the Hindus and Christians alone. Something is quite out of the ordinary here. I need to ask Goombah about this event. Hamza123
Shall we compare what happening in Indonesia with the American Hurricanes? Simply saying God Hates Muslims because this area is on or close to a fault line is stupid... What about all the Hurricanes? God Hates Americans? SEE, it makes no sense, disasters in a Muslim country will most likley kill more Muslims... Same with America and any other country. Quote Taking it up the poopchute from Allah since 1990. Hamza123
I suggest you go back and read the entire thread. Shit, you do have a point? I guess god hates Indonesian Muslims... Gulf Coast Muslims seem to be having a lot of flourshing lifestyles. The earthquake is thought to have been tectonic in origin and not directly associated with the ongoing eruption of nearby Mount Merapi' date=' although the earthquake is reported to have caused increased activity in the volcano.[8'] Indonesia's location along the Ring of Fire predisposes it to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
