If I were to use that logic I would have no sense of humor. Sad things happen, doesn't mean you can't laugh about something. I'm almost 100% positive you've laughed at something someone said, that related to the death of someone in the past.

And I do believe this particular quote is funny. You can't be positive he was right about the girl, hell, you can't even tell if there was a girl. It's the progression of excuses from the other guy that makes it funny.

If you think people doing stupid shit to other people, like pranks, even the stuff from Jackass, they're messing with humans. If you've laughed at that, but will not laugh at this, you are being hypocritical. Hell, if you've laughed at anything that involves something 'bad' happening to another thing/person, be it inanimate or living, you are a hypocrit.

I'm not judging anybody. And I haven't labeled anybody a hypocrit. And I know that just because I find something funny doesn't mean everyone else should.

Let me break my post down for you.

The use of the word 'if' signifies no judgement or labeling. I'm not saying "you are wrong, this is funny, hypocrit." No, I'm saying, if you don't find this funny because of some real world issue, then you are taking it too seriously. Furthermore, if you have laughed at any of the aforementioned topics, that would make you a hypocrit.

No judgement or condemnation there. Furthermore, it is not a joke. It is a quote. There is quite a difference. And just because someone finds it funny, does not mean they're a sicko, or there's anything wrong with them. Why? Because it is a conversation that was held, not an action that was carried out.
