Carlos Beltran was traded for the third time in the middle of a season on Monday when the New York Yankees shipped the veteran outfielder to the Texas Rangers for three minor league players. The Yankees received Dillon Tate, who was the fourth overall pick in the 2015 draft, in addition to fellow right-handed pitchers Erik Swanson and Nick Green as Major League Baseball's trade deadline came to a close on Monday. The 39-year-old switch hitter Beltran has been the most consistent batter for an offence that has been struggling.
