I can do lots of paste trees, paste tees, buns, rolls, royce, pies, loaves,

mediumves and hives now I've got my new stove. It arrived yesterday. Not all

by itself though. Two men carried it. None of em will be dog-flavoured

though. (The pastries not the D. Livery men.)

The stove was ?269 ($394.77) which ain't a bad price considering the double

oven, the main oven being fan assisted. He stands at the back, cheers, and

shouts "Yo oven!! Yo oven!! C'mon! Get those pies done . . . !" The small

oven also serves as a grill, and there are two very rapid hotplates and two

slow ones at the back. The thing's very well made for teh money as well.

And I got a large saut? pan and a medium-sized saucepan by Le Creuset for

?103 ($151.16) from John Lewis in Oxford Street. I'd looked em over last

week but when I went in there yesterday they'd cut the prices by around ?12

per pan. Not bad.

The lid of the saut? pan is heavier than the whole of my largest cheap

rubbish saucepan from Argos!

And the DeLonghi deep frat fire, sorry - it might set the entire university

alight - deep fat fryer I wanted had had around 40% knocked off its price.

It's now ?48.90 ($71.76). Seems like the old luck of the Nemos is still

following me around! That's being delivered on Tuesday. It's a bit

cumbersome.

Hmmmmm! Bhajias, Samosas, Kachori, Chipsssssssssssssssss! Apple fritters!

The luck of the British don't look too good though do it? - especially if

they're going over there on holiday! So few $ to the ? now!! And it was

your housing slump that started the whole recession thing off!

Kachori?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kachori

I do em stuffed with potato and onion flavoured with coconut, mint, a little

finely-chopped root ginger, a very little asafoetida and a few cumin seeds!

Umyay umyay!

Ya hungry yet?!!
