Oh, OH! But, yes you do for an "exact match"!

Really? You need the quotes for an "exact match"?

Of course. Because the geniuses at Google have configured their search

engine so that if you type "Jeff Dunham and Peanut" (with quotes, just

like it is written), you will get numerous search results related to

"Jeff Dunham and Peanut." Naturally.

But they've gone ahead and taken the extra precaution to make sure that

if you just type Jeff Dunham and Peanut (without quotes), you'll just be

directed to a couple links for some guy's auto repair site and a banner

ad page. I'm sure they took this extra step in their design process

with "ease of seach capability for the end-user who will potentially be

using their product" in mind.

(psst to weaver: go to google and type jeff dunham and peanut without

the quotes, and you'll "get" the irony i'm oh-so-subtly delivering in

the above diatribe. lol lol lol.)

Love,

Wavy G

Yes. Search for "I'm going down to the purple river where the glass fish

swim high up in the trees." with the quotes. You'll see the results for

both with and without quotes. Quite different, don't you think.

I don't know what you're talking about. I get nearly the same results.

Some YouTube videos, his website and such. Some entertainer I guess. Never

heard of him.

Did it, don't get it. I am using Firefox with AdBlock Plus. Could that

have changed something?
