It's bad medicine to post pictures to non-picture groups, it ticks off

the resident experts as it's bad form.

Download AdAware and SpyBot Search and Destroy and update then run them.

What antivirus software are you using?

Sorry...I posted links to the images after an

unsuccessful try at attaching the images (which

apparently were stripped from my first message,

so, hopegully, no harm done...again, sorry.

I already tried Adaware...maybe I should do an

update and re-run it.

I'm using McAfee Security Center for my AV app.

....and I'l try SpyBot.

Thanks.

Posting attachments is allowed in the microsoft. hierarchy.

Especially pictures which may help in the correction of a problem.

I beg to differ - posting attachments is still considered bad form overall

unless it's in a group specific to that. This is a text-based form. Posting

attachments, particularly a slew of large ones, significantly reduces your

odds of getting help.

Links good. Attachments bad. Most people with sense won't open attachments

(****, some may not even click on links). Text is best.

Microsoft allows posting of attachments up to ~75KB.

This is not the alt. hierarchy where you can only post attachments in alt.binaries.

I have read NO Charter, FAQ or MS web page that states otherwise.

Sure. That doesn't mean you should . It's simply good netiquette, not a

formal prohibition.<span style="color:blue">

Since this is a "support" group and not just a mere discussion group, I disagree.
