I know the neo nazis claim that they were "Mossad agents".

It's interesting that a group with even a few otherwise "intelligent"

(regarding any issue not directly related to race) members could

actually believe that the Mossad has teenage "agents".

I recall reading an article years ago in a military magazine

that detailed a raid by the Israeli Sayaret Golani brigade on a Syrian

stronghold in the Golan mountains. I presume the brigade was named

that after, but I don't know.

Anyway, they retook it, and yadda yadda, etc. What struck me

was what it took for the soldiers who decided to volunteer for service

in that unit to get in. This was the late '80s, and of course there is

a minimum requirement in terms of age for service in the Israeli army.

In addition, the recruit had to go through further very strenuous

training that made the regular army training look pretty tame by

comparison, and this was no short familiarization course.

That's still an army unit though; grunts. I don't recall

whether it was 18 months more, or 2 or 3 years, but I do remember

thinking "... that's a long time for a non special ops unit", or

something like that.

Contrast that with the fact that the Israeli Mossad in the

'70s was only comprised of about 40 men. They could have expanded a

bit then, but it's not like everyone and his brother is a Mossad

agent. And of course, the Mossad isn't like the CIA or the KGB. They

don't have "spokespeople" to issue statements like "no comment"; no

comment is still a comment, of a sort.

So now we have this story about the Israeli art students. It

was reported by one network (it was Fox, was it not?), and the neo

nazis have been busy repeating it ever since.

Did you check out the link to William Pierce's internet radio

broadcast of September 8th, 2001... the one I gave the link to? That

is foreknowledge Rick.

Is it possible that some organization in Israel was shadowing

Al Qa'ida, and genuinely was happy that their only patron superpower

might have a greatly suffering economy, depending on how things went,

and might not be able to afford to "attack Israel's enemies in the

Middle East"? Yes, it's possible. I do think it's unlikely though. I

have a bit of a problem however, believing that the Israeli government

as a group knew about this. There may have been a few rogue

whackadoodles over there who did, but that would be about it.

So, what you're left with is the possibility that the kind of

Israelis who cut down their Palestinian neighbour's orange grove,

(yeah... actually happened at least once... contrast it with the

number of bombings by PLO people [not "spokespeople"])

and think it's okay to use teenagers to spy, knew something about

this, etc, and actually thought it would benefit Israel somehow. Not

that the Israeli government, or the neo nazi's favorite bogeymen the

Mossad knew, but that some fringe over there with connections managed

to actually learn of this and not tell anyone who would have informed

people in the US who needed to be told.

Then on the other hand, you have the William Pierce thing, and

the neo nazis who post so often here about how "Israel knew", etc. Did

you listen to that September 8th broadcast yet Rick? It's a really

great shew...

I would agree with that. I'd like to know what kook fringe

they were from, because the Mossad does not run an amateur hour type

of show, and if they did know, then the US government ought to be

telling the Israeli government to get those little fuckers in line or

Sounds to me like this might have been one of those self

funded operations that gets out of control. The CIA and KGB had a lot

of experience with these... not all of it what even they considered

"good" experiences. And the bottom line of this to me is that it's

possible that an intelligence operation may have been going on in the

US that was connected to the Mossad, although I doubt it was to any

great degree, if at all. They're not known for the kind of

unprofessionalism seen here.

I'd like to see an investigation commence on this. I'd like to

know if the guys who were so happy that the towers were hit had told

their superiors that they had information that they were going to be,

and if they failed to report it, or if they were happy because they

were among the more whacky fringe element that you sometimes see over

there. All intelligence agencies breed monsters to some degree, or at

least that's what a thorough look at what some agencies have been

involved in would make most people think. I certainly think so. I'd

like to know if they had already told their bosses there was to be an

attack that morning, etc, etc.

The other thing that bothers me is that, while it could be

just those guys, and maybe not even all of them that were supposed to

have been so happy, it's clear to me that William Pierce the neo nazi

leader had foreknowledge of it, not a few hours before, but probably

as far back as he had warned people to stay away from tall buildings

in major cities, and certainly at least by September 8 of 2001. And I

don't think he got any of his info from the Israelis either.

I kind of doubt that. I think it's more likely that they were

being used to get information about the DEA out to help whoever they

were working for be able to better fund their spy operations. Some

people think that way - end justifies means, and so on.

>Investigative journalist John Sugg, who

>> least one source formerly with Israeli intelligence, suggested that

I doubt it. From what I've read elsewhere, some of them were

teenagers. It doesn't seem to me that very many Israelis would be

happy if they thought their kids were doing that kind of work for

those kinds of people. Besides, they could easily have been arrested

on suspicion of trafficking in ecstasy, or even on trying to gain

information about the DEA, etc, under any number of intelligence

related laws. That alone could have gotten them booted out of the

Carter was widely criticized for his appointees deemphasizing

HUMINT and favoring ELINT. Now Bush is doing it and the people who

thought it was such a disaster 30 years ago are saying nothing.

Ridiculous. I've said before that the Bush regime wants a push-button

armed forces, and apparently they're also trying to gain a lot more

control over the intelligence services, and I don't mean the kind of

control that prevents scams from happening, but the kind that makes

sure when they're perpetrated it's unlikely they'll ever be found out.

6 of one, half a dozen of the other. What bothers me is that

the neo nazis are the ones pushing this story hard, and I've seen

nothing to suggest that "Israel knew", or even that the Mossad

phone to them every day, yet this is the way the story is being spun,

and I find it very interesting to note who it is that's most often

spinning it. I don't mean you either Rick. I know you're no neo nazi.

Take a look at most of the sources for this, and remember, William

Yeah, and there was a line somewhere in this that suggested they might

Ah, but they weren't teenagers. The Israeli "art students" were in

their mid 20s--plenty of time to have been well trained spooks. And

it turns out they did have intelligence training. More interesting,

the reports were that they looked "middle eastern" and could speak

Arabic. What's more, at least one of them was loaded with cash--some

$180,000 in bank withdrawals. And finally, they seemed to operate in

the very same places U.S. investigators found all that evidence of

middle-eastern-looking, Arabic speaking, young "Muslim terrorists."

What were all those middle-eastern-looking, Arabic-speaking, young,

intelligence-trained Israelis doing in the same locations where those

middle-eastern-looking, Arabic-speaking young devout Muslims were

staying? Were the devout Muslims pretending to be Israelis, or were

the Israelis pretending to be Muslims? Which group drank and carried

on like frathouse boys on a Saturday night? Which group left a copy

of the Koran in a strip joint?

The FBI reported that the "Muslim terrorists" used bogus passports.

Which group would have been able to get a hold of phony passports?

Which group took flying lessons, rented rooms, got driver's licenses,

rented automobiles, and even bought airline tickets using the names on

those phony passports?

I, for one, think it was those young Isaeli spooks who left that

bright trail for the FBI to follow after the attacks, leading them

straight to Muslims terrorists who weren't there. I'm betting it was

the Israeli spooks who loaded the car at the airport parking lot with

scads of evidence pointing to Muslims. That's what all those middle-

eastern-looking, Arabic-speaking, Isaeli spooks were doing here.
