To be truthful, since Eaton has a registered domain name all you have
to
do is pull up the whois for that. like this:

I went to here (http://network-tools.com/default.asp?
prog=dnsrec&host=www.etfrc.com+)
and saw that the registered domain IP happens to be 64.70.229.7, which
resolves to
this information:

well, that's somewhat of a dead end because that's telling me where
his host server is physically located.
that doesn't tell me where he's actually posting from. useful info to
save for later, though.

Now we will grab his IP addy from one of his posted articles here on
usenet; in this case his latest NNTP posting ID was 67.80.78.15
and that resolves to Hamilton, new jersey. all it takes from there is
to find out his real name (if it happens
to be something other than eaton t. forbes which I suspect is the
situation here) and run with the
white pages. usually druggie mother****ers slip up and disclose their
true name at one point in a post
at one time or another. and there are ways to find posts that were
supposed to be "X-No Archived"
by looking into google's cache via an indirect route.

I must be a bit slow, I didn't see any Eaton listed anywhere. Just a lot of
numbers, a nice Florida zip code and some efforts at lookin like Columbo and
bingo there you go nobody's name came up not even the one being looked
for???

What was the point of this exercise?

Are you trying to help him or
something?

Who's him in what context? no I am not helping anyone. It is unlikely that
anything will come of it however if it makes you feel better. there's
nothing he needs to prove to me. I was merely observing what wasn't there or
anywhere else for that matter.

Peace!
