received an Email from "WINDOWS LIVE TEAM" stating "ACCOUNT UPGRADE (Final Notice)" sent...

I have a Question..........

I received an Email today from "WINDOWS LIVE TEAM" which stated "ACCOUNT UPGRADE (Final Notice)"

 

It was sent from: Email address is removed for privacy and requested me to confirm my account by sending to them MY:

Full Name

Username

PASSWORD

Date of Birth

Country

and the names of any other Email Accounts that I have.

 

The REPLY ADDRESS was as above; jtb92 @hotmail.com

 

This sounds SUSPICIOUS to me. I thought Windows NEVER asks for PASSWORDS,

and why would you need to know my Age or Country and any other Email addresses I may have?

Email address is removed for privacy
