Patrick Reed clinched a spot on the American Ryder Cup team when he won The Barclays on Sunday and immediately set his sights on gaining "sweet revenge" when the U.S. take on Europe in five weeks' time. Reed arrived in New York occupying eighth position on the points list for the biennial match against Europe and booked his place with victory at Bethpage Black, jumping to fourth in the standings. Rickie Fowler did not fare as well.
