referrals????

when u click the user cp u have a word there where it says referrals....what does it mean???

For every new member that comes, if they put your name in the referral slot, you get +1 to that number, it really means nothing.

Referrals is when you direct someone to join this site xD! When they sign up, they can put down the member of the person who told them about these forums and that means you have referred 1 person.

I'm not really sure what the relevance of this referral thing is, but it shows that you've told and advertised the site around to other people and got new members to join I guess =) If you get what I mean?
