Registry problem when installing kaspersky is

Hi

I am trying to install kaspersky internet security. When installing it it

returns "monitoring cannot be opened. an error is preventing this key from

being opened. details: access is denied".

Have tried giving permissions - says "unable to save permission - access is

denied".
