Relapse

I've been half way writing this for 5 years now. This is just a very early rough draft. It actually means a lot more to me than I thought it ever would, so I decided to post it. It's most likely going to end up on my first album (that I'm currently working on) once it's finished. Hope you like it.

everything I ever loved

looking back

it was all a waste of time

so I'm closing these red bloodshot eyes

don't tell me it's okay

I know it's not alright

just let me end it all tonight

everyday I wake in regret

though all the nightmares and cold sweat

I just want to relapse

and take this pain away

I tune the strings

one last time

I play the scales

with an empty mind

I write the closing scene

and take my final bow

the curtain falls

but where should I be now
