Squeee, just got back from Remix Hotel New York 2006! Anyone in this forum go to this one? Or has anybody went to a Remix Hotel in Miami, LA, Atlanta, etc.? It's a great 3-day audio convention with mostly DJ technology showcases and production/mastering tech + panels with recording celebs and stuff. Any remixers in the board go to one?
Anyway, awesome place to be. I networked with local club managers, turntable manufacturers, Logic Pro moderators, and DMC Champion DJs like I-Dee and Neil Armstrong. I was starstruck but it has the vibe where you can just talk, experiment with the latest equipment, and chill.
