Just installed Outlook 2010 on home PC (Windows 7). Attempted to set up two email accounts. Gmail then Yahoo. yahoo account would not find settings, then I remembered Yahoo does not work with Outlook, so I removed the yahoo account. The yahoo account will not go away from the navigation pane, and is listed as the default account. I never assigned it to be the default account (at least not intentionally). Even though it does not exist in the accounts set-up, it still exists in the navigation pane as the default account. When I select the Gmail account it will not let me change it to be the default account. So I'm stuck with a non-existent account as my default. I have not been able to find any help for this in searching tech support options
