Guest Harry Hope
Last week GOP presidential candidate Tom Tancredo decided to swing for the fences in an effort to catch up with the frontrunners by casting an appeal to the religiously genocidal wing of the Republican party. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2007/08/04/tancredo-bomb-muslim-holy-sites-first/ Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo's campaign stood by his assertion that bombing holy Muslim sites would serve as a good "deterrent" to prevent Islamic fundamentalists from attacking the United States, his spokeswoman said Friday. "This shows that we mean business," said Bay Buchanan, a senior Tancredo adviser. "There's no more effective deterrent than that. But he is open-minded and willing to embrace other options. This is just a means to deter them from attacking us." (snip) "If it is up to me, we are going to explain that an attack on this homeland of that nature would be followed by an attack on the holy sites in Mecca and Medina," Tancredo said. "That is the only thing I can think of that might deter somebody from doing what they would otherwise do. If I am wrong, fine, tell me, and I would be happy to do something else. But you had better find a deterrent, or you will find an attack." Okay, just a few quick points... 1) Are you out of your mind? 2) I mean, seriously, you're joking, right? 3) Good grief, you're not joking. Yesterday at the Repub debate, Tancredo was complaining that we weren't winning in Iraq because the troops' hands are tied by restrictive rules of engagement. What an idiot. This is a guerilla war. Would this good Christian want us blowing up whole cities full of civilians? The rabid right are clearly going crazy.

You know, John Roberts, he of the stupid gray hair on CNN, said, of Tom: "well, if he insults Rove, he should get secret service protection." Oh, Karl you can't just kill people because they disagree with you, you nut. Anyway, I'd go out of my way to protect tom, it took courage, don't see that often. Sec of Def Robert Gates was on MTP yesterday and he said that he'd attack OBL in Pakistan if he had actionable intelligence. When Russert asked if he would do this only with Musharraf's approval, Gates responded that he'd let Musharraf know. What Obama said wasn't that startling and OBL should be public enemy #1. This is a media- generated nontroversy. > > You know, John Roberts, he of the stupid gray hair on CNN, said, of > Tom: "well, if he insults Rove, he should get secret service > protection." There's a fissure in the GOP over immigration and that's Tancredo's main issue.

This is a media- > generated nontroversy. If Obama were there, and a true target, a small team could easily, and more effectively get him, then the 3rd brigade. The need to bomb, the need to go into Pakistan, which seems to be Bush's answer to everything, is crap. They simply do not have a solution, so the solution is civil war everywhere, essentially Karl Rove's plan for America, conquer divide and get people fighting. Then, you know, Bush gets to play daddy, and solve all the problems. What a fantasy life that man has... A fucking moron, so far out of his league as to be breathtaking... > > > > > You know, John Roberts, he of the stupid gray hair on CNN, said, of > > Tom: "well, if he insults Rove, he should get secret service > > protection." And criticizing Karl Rove is a life endangering move. WTF?
Guest Roger
That this guy thinks he should be president disqualifies him for the job.
