Eric Hosmer drove in Alcides Escobar with a sacrifice fly to give the Royals an emotional victory in a thriller that matched the longest game by innings in the history of Major League Baseball's best-of-seven final. "To grind through that game and win it in the 14th inning was big," Royals manager Ned Yost said.
