RSS Feed

i reckon we should set up a RSS Feed for LPF, listing new threads, updates, etc etc.

Caus my gmail account displays RSS Feeds, and they are handy to find useful things.

they are like special news feeds, u can access them through programs, email, phones etc etc.

I don't properly understand what a "RSS Feed" but I THINK I sorta know what you mean.

As said by LpGirl, there's sort of one of those types of things on the main page, where the latest Lp news appears as soon as it's posted, so you'll always see the LP updates in the main portal. There's also a link to the latest poll there as well.

If you mean like you want to know when new threads pop up, I dunno, it usually just shows up with a different picture, and the thread name is usually bold lol. You can also subscribe to threads (I think). I saw that feature in my control panel agesss ago but have never used it myself, but it should alert you of new replies to that specific thread if you'd like. I don't think we have enough new topics in a day to do e-mail or phone alerts just yet, but hey, it's an idea at least =]

So far none of you but s&s(kinda) get an rss, its a way to be able to see when new stuff is posted in your bookmark toolbar.

In fact there are feeds for every forum. Try http://www.linkinparkforums.com/external.php?forumids=51 for "LP News" for example.

I'll make it all clear after upgrade (soon).

awesome' date=' thanks for that, does LPF have any other rss feeds?[/quote']When you enter any forum the URL (which you can see in the address line of your browser) ends with ?f=xx where xx is some number. This number is forum ID. Try to use these numbers instead of "51" in the URL I gave above.
