samsung omnia sgh-i900 ,, windows update problem !!

have a samsung omnia sgh-i900 but windows update nerver worked? internet works fine but the update says after a while to check my connection and check if the date/time are right.. how can I get windows update to work?? talked with samsung but they said I should take it with microsoft.. so please help me ,, Thanks
