I have 3 different domains in 3 different forests. I have recently started migrating users and PCs from Domain A to Domain B. I have noticed that when adding a printer and using the "find a printer in the directory" option, it is only listing the printers in Domain B for the users that have moved to Domain B. Even selecting "Browse" will not allow choosing a different domain.
However, on our Windows 7 clients, which are also in Domain B, using the same function allows searching in any of the trusted domains - A, B, or C. It doesn't matter which user is logged in. And the client machines are receiving the same set of group policies.
Is this a limitation of XP? Or is there some option that needs to be enabled to search in other domains?
