Series seats still cost less in Cleveland

Resale prices on tickets for Tuesday's sixth game of the World Series in Cleveland were hovering around $3,000 to $4,000 for mid-range seats available, far less than they had cost in Chicago. The same price difference was in evidence for the opening two games last week in Cleveland compared to last weekend's games in Chicago, where seats were going for twice as much, some purchases topping $20,000. A Cleveland savings had prompted many Cubs fans to drive the six hours from Chicago and pay for lodging and travel and still spend less than they would have for tickets to the three games played at Wrigley Field.
