Seriously pissed off.

Okay, I had to get this off my chest.

 

The other day, after I had finished my shift at Sainsburys, there was an old RAF Veteran trying to raise some money for a charity outside the store. I have alot of respect for War Heroes and decided to donate some change. He thanked me and was really kind! "Bless him, if only there were more people in the world like him!' I thought. As I was walking off, a group of 3 teenagers were just leaving the store too, the RAF man seemed intimidated by them as they were talking quite loudly and harshly amongst themselves. They noticed this and shouted something rude at him, he didn't say anything back (probably out of intimidation) and started to walk away towards the store. I decided not to do anything at this point as he was going back to the store and there were 3 of them and one of me.

 

Then they did something that made me snap; they thought that, being the fucktarded chavs they were, it would be funny and clever to throw a stone at him. It hit him in the back quite hard and he yelled out in shock. Then I fucking flipped: "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?! IF IT WASN'T FOR PEOPLE LIKE HIM, YOU MIGHT NOT EVEN BE HERE!" Of course they just laughed at me, not taking me seriously. There were 3 of them, and they didn't care. At this point, I forgot about logic, so what if there were 3 of them, they arn't getting away with disrespecting an elderly. They yelled some random insults and laughed. Then the old man collapsed, which set me off. I strolled towards them, I don't think i've ever been so angry in my life. Then they started to back off a bit, yelling random insults. I didn't care, I knew I wouldn't be any match for three of them, I just had to hope that they'd back off. I told them that I was calling the police and they legged it.

 

I ran over to the old man, he was in shock, but seemed okay. I ran back into the store and got help. The man thanked me for helping him and we phoned a taxi for him to get home safely, I didn't mind paying for it, I felt I had to.

 

This raises some questions, is it just me, or do kids get more disrespectful and violent each year? Frankly, I'm disgusted at young teenagers.

I have respect for elders, just not other teenagers thank you very much!

Wow, I really admire what you did to help the old man, very impressive! I find it hard to find people who truly have a heart like you nowadays. Yeah, teenagers, well most of them, don't seem to show any respect to old people at all. I felt very angry when it came to the part when they threw a stone at him, they're such stupid bloody dips***s. Well, you should be proud of yourself about what ya did. That so bad, i swear its an english thing, we have such trouble with hooliganism and chavdom, ive never heard of people being so fucking ignorant and disprespectful to a war veteran in my whole life, it sickens me, what idiots!

I bloody agree. Kids are so dumb. I helped a VET at work today, he thanked me for it, which made me feel good. Old people are our history, and I respect them.

i totally agree with you, young people (not all of them) are disrepectful. when i was younger we didn't talk back to people older than us and if we did we were severly punished. don't young people realise that those people fought for our country and many died so we could live the way we do today. maybe we should send tham all off to fight for our country, then they might have respect for the older generation.

Stevenage, it's proven that it's one of the most densly populated areas with chavs. It gets worse every year I swear, if there's a group of them and someone walks past, they just HAVE to mouth something off to them, to make themselves feel big.

somewhere in the last few years, kids seem to have seen to grown an exra leg, they think theyre invincible and immune to everything,being 17 myself, iv been up close and personal with bunches of idiots who think its cooler to run amok than get a proper education/job or do anything constructive other than abuse other people, assault them, grafiti etc

 

while no doubt peers and media may influence this...one hasta ask, what the FUCK are parents doing about it??? their kids are running amok and what are they doing??? sure some kids can get out of their hellholes,lead normal productive lives when their childhoods are shitted or spent in abuse, but there are only so many, perhaps its time to get harsher on parents rather than the kids, kids are now wearing their prison/juvie sentences as a badge of honor and we need to rectify this

7 Years Ago: Teenagers started taking the streets on weekends. Wasn't too bad.

5 Years Ago: A neighboring town turned into a complete shithole

4 Years Ago: Scums migrated here

3 Years Ago: Brawls were fair common

This Year: Nobody goes out at night no matter what due to fear. People walk around with knives hoping to find someone to stab.

 

War veterans don't are too afraid to do any fund raisers in my town because of all the punks who think its cool to bully anyone and everyone. Come to think of it, no fund raisers ever get very far here anymore. Nobody bothers repair broken things here, they just get broken again within 24 hours. I assure you it's teenagers as I've seen them do it.

Nobody can have formal or small parties here anymore, they all get crashed by guess who! Thats right! Teenagers.

So overall I do think Teenagers are getting worse. Way worse. But thats not all of them of course. (I'm a teenager and you won't see me picking on random people for the hell of it, crashing a party or wielding a knife so I can go to some random town and stab some people)

What you've done was the most justice I've come across for a very long while. I'm glad there's still ppl out there who are loving and respectful for others. Though it is quite a pity that there are such idiots out there who would gather up in their little groups and do things that is wrong with every moral. It's just stupid, if you really think about it. But great job on your actions, you deserve a pat on da backz!

Listen, i am 14 guys, for some reason I take offense to all these overall assumptions on teenagers, seriously, I don't think you realize but teenagers are important to society, War Veterans are our past, yes, teenagers the future. So instead of just throwing these assumptions around by them, instead next time you see that shit, don't curse them off, TELL THEM WHY THEY ARE BEING IDIOTS, let them have something in there head. Don't forget teenagers are HUMAN as long with everyone else on this fucking planet. I feel accusing the teenagers is somewhat wrong, it's the parents fault too. thats very true but its no excuse. i was a single mother on benifits living in a council house when my kids were younger, but i got off my ass and got a part time job and educated my kids. being a single mother is hard but yo can bring up your kids to know wrong from right, i think its down to lazyness.

In Wazza this summer a father of two he stood up to a group of teenagers as they were hanging about being generally disruptive around his house.. they hit him over the head and he died.

Yeah.. I heard about that, that man was a hero. I agree, it gives the rest of us teenagers a bad name, it makes me sad when I see elderly people feeling threatened by us, just because we walk past them.

ive noticed that kids will only do this stuff around their friends, they want to "impress" somebody or be looked at as a "bad ass" i guess and think it's funny. get one of them alone and they are a lot more rational. i can be a jack ass too with my friends, but when it comes to complete disrespect and hurting people i just look at them and say "dude, that's not cool" and i can't remember a time they disagreed with me.

OMG i so agree, there a huge bunch of 13 -15 year olds that hangout at the mall where i work. they come and go all day, with their BMX bikes and scooters. They all dress the same too, with their black independent stake hoodies and their black spiky hair. Now n then other older teenagers will give us shit for pushing trollies etc, but i jus ignore them. Fuck sometimes I could go off so easily. honestly Im ashamed at my generation, all it is, is rebellion and alcohol.
