Session vs Cure for the itch

Hi people!I don´t know...maybe this question was here so sorry.But I´m very interested in your minds.

 

So what do you think...What song is better or what song do you like more.Session or Cure for the itch?

 

I like both songs.Both are cool.But I like little bit more Cure for the itch.

 

And what about you?

I definitely like Session more. I like CFTI too, but session is better IMO. Then again, Ambient or whatever that song is called owns everything.

I like both cuz...well i dont really know. But I think i like session better because it doesnt have that voice going "lets try something new".

Ambient? never heard of it

Ambient is kind of a nickname for the instrumental at the end of Part of Me. there's a long time of static after the end of the song, and then the instrumental starts.

Cure for the Itch owns all instrumentals by LP, in my opinion.

Session is good, because Joe uses his djing skills more. It's easy to move to and got good beats, but for me, I'm saying Cure for the Itch. Sure, it's not very hard at all, and it just repeats itself for 2 minutes, but I really love the beat they create. Its so easy to get lost in, and it always makes me think of open spaces, or being alone on a hill and just seeing trees and the sky around me.

I much prefer Session myself. Its much more soothing and relaxing, yet still interesting. Its a song you cant really get bored of easily.

Actually, Cure for the Itch expressed much more turntablist skills than Session. Even though Session had a scratch solo in the end, Cure for the Itch was extremely sample-happy. Hahn scratched the background music, the beat, and scratched most of his samples throughout the song, and he even ended it with a nice flutter.

 

But it's not the quantity that counts. Even though Session was more simplistic, it was more to my taste of music. My vote goes to Session.

Cure for the Itch is a great song, but I for some reason like Hahn's reanimation mix a lot better than the original. But Session's better than those two.

Cure's perhaps a cooler song, in terms of beat and such, but I just relate more to the emotion of Session.

Thanks for the info. And no Jeezey, I haven't heard the orchestral version for cure for the itch, and I guess I need to find a place to dl it. If you wanna send me it, that would be fine. But without hearing the orchestral version, I still like Cure for the Itch better.

I like at the end of the scratching solo of session how it echos and fades out.

I prefer Session...I don't actually like CFTI...I don't know...Session is far better for my taste...

Definitely Session! Cure For The Itch would be OK if it weren't for that voice saying "Mr Haaaahhhhn" and "Let's try something else". I don't like that intrusion...

No offence to linkin park, but i thought cure for the itch was really weird. I really like Session though.
