Site Running Slow

I have noticed it has been going a little tiny bit slower for me lately... right now its ok though. Ive also had the same problem as Friðbjörn where its up and down at random times... but its been doing that for a while. :confused:

right now its fine and goes pretty fast but sometimes i have to wait like a bijillion years and after its done loading it says Page Does Not Display

There's been a ton of guests on lately. Every time I check it's around 200 guests or more, so that could be effecting it too.

mine does that too but i dont know whether that is the crappiness of my comp or not....

Yeah I was about to say the same as Misery. There has been a HUGE change in the amount of visitors lately, the other day there was about 400 online and like... 50 people viewing the general talk :O. I thought I was the only one to notice it heh. It is pretty cool though with all of the new people checking out the site, but it might be the reason why the site is a bit slow. Too much traffic perhaps?

90% of those guests are just Yahoo bots.

Yahoo bots made it to the forums?! Wtf o_0 How? Are they yahoo **** bots lol? They're so annoying in yahoo rooms, they better not pm me asking me to view their non existent cams :\ That's crazy. I hope they don't do anything bad to this place.

Yahoo bots are the bots that yahoo sends out to search the web to get results for their search engine

I haven't noticed the forums running slowly at all, but quite often they just don't work when I first try and come on.

Hey, the number of visitors and the crapiness of my comp aside, I'm still having probs viewing images. It takes FOREVER for pages to load where there's pics, I can't even view the sigs in the Pics threads. I just upload to it and hope it's the right pic (even in my journal) because I no longer see any images... Is it JUST my comp or perhaps something else??? I've been on and off at all different hours just to test the time/visitors theory, and while on occasion I get to see sigs, currently I don't even see them anymore... What's going on?!? *sob*

Just curious is all.

We need more people to click on the banners through out the site. As much time as we spend keeping this site online for your enjoyment, I would hope you would be willing to help us alittle bit. So please visit the spounsor banners through out the site. Or issues like this will go unfixed.
